I had the opportunity to visit Cape Liberty, New Jersey Port and do a walkthrough of the Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas. The rooms on this ship are a bit smaller than the Icon but still very spacious. They have an adult only Buffet area where we ate. Their Buffett had everything from seafood to burgers. This is perfect for anyone who is traveling without children and does not wish to be surrounded by children when they eat.
The Symphony offers a lot of the same shows as the Icon; however, I believe the Broadway style show is Hairspray. I did not get to see that show but if it is anything like the Wizard of Oz on the Icon it will be a must-see show.
If you are driving to the port you do pay to park. I am not sure what the prices are. However, if you are flying you would most likely be paying to park at the airport. They have signs up with boarding times. You look for your time and that is the line you get in. It looked to be self-explanatory and there were restrooms outside if you needed to use them prior to your boarding time. There were tons of staff to ask questions and direct you to where to go.
Symphony has something for all ages.
